Nike Park

Nike Park 288 W Diehl Rd
On Saturday morning at 9 AM the Naperville Park District will unveil four pickleball courts at the north entrance of Nike Sports Complex at Diehl Road and Mill Street. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks by Richard Janor, Vice President of Naperville Park Board, are planned; attendees and pickleball enthusiasts are welcome.

Over the past two years, the Park District has made numerous enhancements at Nike Sports Complex, such as installing synthetic turf fields for baseball, soccer, football, and lacrosse; tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts; as well as creating a brand new playground. Their expansion’s park support building, named Book Family Pavilion in honor of a family who once farmed on this location is also now complete.

Daily Herald reports of plans to install six to ten fitness stations along the walking path at Nike Sports Complex. These fitness stations will feature strength training, warm-up exercises, and stretching, as well as information regarding the health benefits of exercise and nutrition; staff from Naperville Park District employees will staff them. Furthermore, a one-of-its-kind AED unit has already been installed at this park; eventually, one unit will be placed at each larger park of Naperville Park District.
